A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store. This page lists every category of cookie used on DevTools Hub and what each is for.
Cookies we set ourselves
None. The site has no accounts, no sessions and no server-side state, so there is nothing for a first-party cookie to hold.
Some tools remember a preference — a chosen format or a display option — using your browser's local storage. That is not a cookie, it is never sent with a request, and it stays on your device.
Advertising cookies
This site displays ads through Google AdSense, which sets cookies to measure ad performance and, where permitted, to personalise the ads you see based on your prior visits to this and other sites.
These cookies are set by Google, not by us. We cannot read them and they carry nothing you typed into a tool.
Managing cookies
- Personalised ads can be turned off at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
- Vendor-level opt-outs are available at https://www.aboutads.info/choices and https://www.youronlinechoices.com for the EU.
- Every browser can block or delete cookies in its settings. Doing so does not affect the tools, which will keep working exactly as before.
- Visitors in the EEA and UK are asked for consent before personalised advertising cookies are set.
