This policy explains what happens to information when you use DevTools Hub (https://devtools-hub-by-abdul-samad.vercel.app). The short version: almost every tool runs entirely in your browser and we never receive what you put into it. There are two exceptions, and both are described in full below — the Open Graph checker, which has to send us the address you ask it to look at, and advertising, which involves a third party.
What the tools do with your input
With one exception, every tool on this site runs as JavaScript inside your own browser. Text you paste, files you drop, images you compress, passwords you generate and tokens you decode are processed on your device and are never transmitted to us. There is no database and no account system.
You can verify this: load a tool page, disconnect from the internet, and the tool keeps working.
The exception is the Open Graph checker, described in the next section. It is the only tool that sends anything to a server, and the only one that stops working offline.
The Open Graph checker
This tool shows you how a web page will look when its link is shared on social media. Doing that means reading that page's HTML, and a browser is not permitted to read HTML from another website — so the address you enter is sent to our server, which requests the page and returns the tags it found.
Only the address is sent. We do not store it, log it to a database, or associate it with you, and the page we fetch is only ever scanned for its preview tags. Because the address travels as part of this site's own web address, it may appear in ordinary server access logs kept by our host; those logs are not used to build any profile and are not retained by us.
The tool will only fetch pages that are already public on the internet. Requests aimed at private or internal network addresses are refused, so it cannot be used to reach anything that is not publicly reachable already.
If you would rather not send us an address, simply do not use this one tool. Every other tool on the site works without contacting us at all.
Tool input in the page address
Several tools place your input into the page address so you can bookmark a result or send someone a link that reopens it. This is a convenience, and it has a consequence worth stating plainly.
While you stay on the page, the address is updated locally and nothing is sent. But if you reload that address, or open a link someone shared with you, your browser requests it from our hosting provider, and the address — including the content held in it — may appear in that provider's standard access logs. For that reason, do not paste confidential data into a tool page you intend to reload or share. Nothing is stored by us in either case.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested. These typically include the IP address, the time of the request, the page requested, the referring page and the browser's user agent string. They are generated by the infrastructure serving the site, used for security and reliability, and we do not combine them with anything else or use them to identify individuals.
Cookies and advertising
This site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads, and it is the only third party that sets cookies here.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and other sites on the internet.
The tools themselves set no tracking cookies. Some tools remember a preference locally in your browser's storage — that data stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.

- You can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at https://www.aboutads.info/choices.
- You can block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings. The tools will continue to work.
Analytics
We do not run any analytics product that records what you type into a tool. If that changes, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect.
Your rights
Because we do not collect or store personal information, there is generally nothing for us to export, correct or delete on request. Where advertising cookies fall under the GDPR, the UK GDPR or the CCPA, the controller for that data is the advertising provider, and their policies describe how to exercise those rights.
Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are shown a consent notice before personalised advertising cookies are set, and can change that choice at any time.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will act on it.
